1) San Francisco Botanical Gardens. The great weather of San Francisco provides a unique atmosphere that permit the growth and maintenance of flowers from around the world. As a result the San Francisco Botanical Gardens offers a look at flowers and plants that are rare almost anywhere else in the world. The Gardens are fifty five acres and host more than 6500 different plants from all the globs makes it a real great first san francisco activities.
2) Chinese Culture Center. In this place you can see great findings about the Chinese culture in San Francisco in addition to manythings that are available to learn about the artistic and cultural contributions that the Chinese people has made to san francisco.
3) Fort Point National Historic Site. This site has remarkable historical significance. Its original purpose was to stop invading forces from coming into San Francisco Bay. at the end of the Civil War the large cannons that had been used for this purpose were obsolete. The last of the original big cannons was disabled around 1900. During the 1930’s, the fort was used as a headquarters for the building of the golden bridge. This harbor has played a a very important role in our past and can be very nice visit , especially if you think about the fact that it will not cost you a dime .
4) Stern Grove Concerts. These concerts only take place on weekends (sunday) afternoons during the hot summer months but still you should check them out if you have a sunny Sunday free during your stay and can make a really wonderful san Francisco activity. The goal of it is to educate the people and potentially inspire future music talents . a love of music is a great gift you can give your chold, second only to a love of reading. It’s a really nice way to spend a day , and it’s totally free!
5) Wells Fargo History Museum. This museum is a fun journey for the you and your kids. Not only does it tell the past of Wells Fargo as it pertains to San Francisco, but it also share the story of of Black Bart and other stagecoach robbers while giviing visitors with the awe inspiring story of the great earthquake of 1906 and the part of Wells Fargo in the amazing process. I believe that everyone from age 4 till 90 alike will find this place to be a lot of fun, especially sense its for free.
