The name might lead some folks to think that it has a very strong ethnic influence but the name has been derived from the fact that this Avenue runs in a straight line, starting from Oakland to its namesake, i.e. the San Pablo city. This is among the most diverse neighborhoods in East Bay SF Ca, sharing its borders with the chic Fourth Street shopping joints and the hippie hangouts of the North Berkeley Ghetto. In terms of ethnic influences, there are some but without any clear favoritism, as you will find typical Italian cafes, Mexican departmental stores and MiddleEastern markets and even an occasional Japanese sushi deli. San Pablo in East Bay SF CA has some landmark places that should be on every visitor’s list:

The Center is known for its exhaustive resources that are concerned with the conservation of the environment. The Ecology Center’s campus is among the largest found in the entire East Bay, SF CA area and this includes the Berkeley Community Gardening Collaborative area and the Bay Area Seed Interchange Library. Visitors can also look forward to shop for some rare and affordable stuff made from recycled stuff such as home décor pieces. This one establishment has single-handedly given East Bay SF CA, an educated and ‘environmentally-conscious’ tag.

If any visitor happens to be here during the weekends, then the experience is simply priceless. The entire atmosphere is very relaxed and the food served as a part of the weekend buffet is sumptuous. This is the best time to soak-in the spirit that is native to the San Pablo, SF CA neighborhood. Visitors can look forward to some local bands playing and the best of the local dishes such as roasted turkey and some delicacies like the mid-eastern dolmas being served.
